Designed to prepare players for tryouts
The clinic will feature the KOHA Skill Development staff each Tuesday focusing on skill acquisition and enhancement, including further development of the fundamental aspects of the game, such as: skating; stick handling; shooting; passing; and puck protection.
The clinic will include a new component focusing on improving decision-making and problem-solving skills on Thursday. The KOHA Skill Development staff will create an environment forcing players to do what the sports asks of them during a game. Competition scenarios will be introduced, like 1v1, 2V1, 3V2 or 1V2, 2V2 or any number of variations.

BODY CONTACT & CONFIDENCE/GAPING & ANGLING CLINIC
The Body Contact & Confidence/Gapping & Angling clinic is specifically designed to focus of skill acquisition and enhancement specifically targeting awareness, body position and body contact. Each session focuses on helping players develop their confidence in physical situations and reduce the likelihood of injury. Players will be separated by age and skill set.
OFFENSIVE SKILLS CLINIC
Designed to optimize and enhance a players’ complete skill set. All areas of skill development will be emphasized. Sessions will be high intensity and players will be challenged and encouraged to push through their comfort levels. Individual skills and progressions of these skills into individual game skills concepts, such as: puck protection, cutbacks, attacking seams, weight transfer shooting, shot selection, net front play. Each session ends with small area games that incorporate these concepts into tactical game play.

The clinic will feature Professional POWER (Performance Optimized With Edges & Reactions) Skating Coach Marcie Kierpiec focusing on skating technique. The on-ice focus will consist of deep edge control, quick transitions, agility and balance drills as well as many other skating movements that are applicable to the game of hockey. Marcie is a renowned skating instructor with extensive experience working with hockey players and the USA Hockey National Development Team Program.
COST: $250* for 4 sessions
