The 6U, 7U, 8U clinic is specifically designed to focus of skill acquisition and enhancement specifically targeting the FOUR essential hockey components:  skating, puck control, passing & shooting.

OFFICIALS NEEDED, GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG PLAYERS TO MAKE SOME MONEY AND GIVE BACK TO THE GAME

Hello from the Kalamazoo Ice Hockey Officials Association (KIHOA)

I hope you are enjoying the start of summer. This letter is to invite you to join

the Kalamazoo Ice Hockey Officials Association and become an on-ice hockey official. Some of you receiving this invitation are already referees. You must attend this clinic to register for the upcoming season. This is a special clinic held for KOHA players ONLY. This is a perfect opportunity for you to find a great job and learn a skill.

This clinic will be held at Wings West on August 23rd and 24th. The clinic begins 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Plan on attending both sessions. We will be covering the rules, regulations and techniques of USA Hockey. We will also discuss how you receive game assignments and payments online through our Website.

We also will have a 1 hour on ice scrimmage starting at 7:30pm both nights. Please bring your referee equipment or skates and a helmet/visor. You will be able to Officiate a game supervised with another official. It’s a GREAT way to get started.

We hope you will be able to joins us for the clinic and on ice practices.

KOHA will be hosting a Try Hockey for Free event so come and see young players try the game for the first time.
