KALAMAZOO, MI: We are so excited to announce a unique opportunity for our House C 10U, 12U & 14U players. KOHA's Mission is to provide every boy and girl in southwest Michigan the opportunity to enjoy and excel at the game of ice hockey. We pride ourselves on the fact that our program offers opportunities regardless of a families time commitment or financial obstacles. Our House C program exists as a lower-cost, decreased time commitment program for families looking to for those options.

House C hockey is not prevalent in the Michigan youth hockey landscape, with KOHA being one of only two associations in the state that offer such a program - the other, Berrien Amatuer Hockey Association (BAHA).

In  the coming weeks, KOHA and BAHA will play a series of Friendship Games, where 10U, 12U & 14U teams from each association will visit the other association.

AJ Glowacki, Director of the BAHA C at Garden Ice Center in St. Joseph program states,  "The Friendship Game Series with KOHA is a great opportunity for both C programs to have fun traveling to another rink and experiencing teams from outside each organization".

KOHA's Executive Director, Frank Noonan, continued, "Our 6U & 8U players participate in cross-ice jamborees against teams outside of KOHA, but our House C 10U and older players don't have that same opportunity. We are excited to work with BAHA and start a tradition that offers a fun, new experience for those players to keep them engaged in and loving our great game."
