KOHA's 8U+ Program is a LOCAL OPPORTUNITY for increased skill development, designed to complement our weekend 8U program. Utilizing our partnerships with Athletic Mentors for first-class off-ice training, and our experienced skills staff of current and former pro & collegiate D1 players for on-ice development, we are excited to announce this opportunity for the 2018/19 season.

This program is in addition to the KOHA 8U program. 
KOHA will be fielding 2 teams that will include:

• Local practices with KOHA Skills Team (current and former Pro & College D1 players)

• Wednesday practices starting in September (9/5 at Wings West)

• Off-ice training with Athletic Mentors following each Wednesday practice

• KOHA game jerseys & socks included,  option to purchase KOHA warmups

• Will play games at Little Caesars Arena (Belfor Training Center rink) in the LCAHL

• Will still play on a KOHA 8U/sponsor team in addition to the KOHA 8U+ team

As one of USA Hockey’s original Model Associations, KOHA is committed to age-appropriate  skill development . The 8U+ program is designed for players and families looking for additional on and off-ice practice throughout  the season to complement our 8U program.
