We are happy to announce the return of our 8U+ program for the 2019-20 season. This opportunity is only open to 2011 & 2012 birth year players.

8U+ TRYOUT DATES & TIMES:
MAY 28 & 29
5:45pm @WINGS WEST
COST: $50

As with last year, this program includes a weekly off-ice session with Athletic Mentors, and a weekly on-ice session with the KOHA Skills Staff. Additionally, our 8U+ teams will participate in cross-ice or half-ice games at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit throughout the season, AND our 8U+ participants are able to attend Athletic Mentors Open Gym times each week in addition to the skills night training (registration is required for open gym - details available once the season starts).

Once again, it is required that your player is registered with KOHA’s regular season 8U program for the 2019-20 season in order to participate in our 8U+ program (regular season registration will be open during tryouts).

By participating with KOHA’s 8U+ program, your player gets to:

• stay local for all practices and training sessions
• work on the ice with professional and college hockey players and coaches
• participate in weekly off-ice training with Athletic Mentors PLUS the opportunity to sign up for additional open gym times (included as part of our 8U+ program)
• play games at Little Caesars Arena throughout the season

Last season we had two 8U+ teams, and if there is enough interest we will consider fielding a third team. The cost of the program will be similar to last year, and we will have that information firmed up and available at tryouts during the parent meeting.
