Many parents wonder "What's Next?" for their player after 8U hockey. KOHA is once again hosting an informational meeting with parents of 2011 birth year players to talk about our program's options for the 2020-21 season.

While the KOHA staff will be on-hand to facilitate the meeting and provide information,  our hope is that parents will engage, ask questions, and walk out of the meeting with a better understanding of what program best fits their family.

We have invited Mark Ostrander, who  coached our 2006 K-Wings team for four seasons. Ostrander was a High School hockey standout at East Grand Rapids HS, spent some time playing junior hockey and was behind the bench at Portage Central High School for 14 seasons. Coach "O" will speak to the landscape of youth hockey in west Michigan over the last couple of decades, and specifically, KOHA's player development philosophy over the last 8-10 years in a very honest and candid way.

We invite 2011 parents especially to this meeting, although all KOHA members are welcomed to attend.

Also in attendance will be  our recently-announced 2020-21 10U A K-Wings Head Coach, Victor Zurek, who will be available to answer questions.
