2022-23 MGHL 12U TIER 2 STATE CHAMPIONS

GIRLS K-WING TRAVEL HOCKEY

KOHA will be forming teams at 10U, 12U and 14U for the 2023-24 hockey season. Tryouts will begin the week of May 15th, dates and times along with registration link can be found by clicking the link below

KOHA girls teams play in the Michigan Girls Hockey League (MGHL) and compete around the state of Michigan as well as Northern Indiana, Ohio and Illinois.

Our girls teams are formed and operated the same way the same way all our travel teams are. We will have tryouts in May to select the teams using our professional skills staff to evaluate the players.

Our teams will practice 3 times a week starting in September and finishing in March. KOHA believes in skill development and is a USA model association that focuses on practices that utilize small area games to maximize each player's puck touches and development.

2 practices each week will be shared ice team practices and one practice will be a skills practice planned and executed by our professional skills staff. Players will be challenged during the season with 18 skills sessions delivered by our skills staff to increase the skill development process for the players.

Following each on ice the skills practice the players will get off ice training from Athletic mentors designed by Mark Olson and his staff at our rink. Mark and his staff design the skills to help players increase strength and agility to compete during the hockey season and beyond. In addition to the scheduled office time following the 18 on ice skill sessions, players will have access to the Athletic Mentors open gym time throughout the season. There is no additional cost for these open gym times and all the fees for the 18 sessions are built into the team budgets so no additional fees will be added during the season.

KOHA is committed to girls hockey while focusing on player development for all the players. Come and check us out and become a part of KOHA and experience the difference.
